Japanese people wear normal western clothes like shirts and trousers in ordinary day-to-day life and they look quite suave in their western outfit. The interesting aspect of Japanese clothing which attracts the attention of everyone is their traditional wear. People around the world find their clothing interesting and very unique, due to its entirely different look from clothes of other countries.  

Some of the traditional clothing worn by Japanese people is Kimono, Jonihitoe, Yukata etc. Kimono is the most definitive Japanese clothing, which can be worn by both men and women. The difference between men ad women kimonos is that the men kimonos are not very flashy and elaborate and they are just loosely seamed and have narrower sleeves. Women wore dazzling styles of kimonos and they feel pride to possess as it is expensive. It is made up of silk and is available in unique designs, making them different from one another. Kimonos have various parts and each part has a name of its own. This shows that Japanese are very methodical with their clothes also.  Japanese women look charming in kimono but it is difficult to wear as it requires help of another person in wearing this kimono.

Another traditional clothing of Japanese women is junihitoe, which is an advance form of kimono. Jonihitoe is a robe of twelve layers and traditionally it was worn by high born Japanese ladies. This clothing is made of silk and the innermost layer is of the pure white silk. All the other layers drape one after the other over this innermost layer. The outermost layer is designed like a coat and lends the colorful and artistic appeal to the garment. This is a very expensive clothing of Japanese women and is rarely available outside Japan. 

Another clothing of Japanese men and women is Yukata, which is mostly worn by women but sometimes it is worn by men also. Yukata is a thin garment, which is mostly worn in the summer season. It is worn in the kimono style, but it is not as elaborate as the kimono. Literally yukata means bath cloth but this clothing is worn on several occasions and festivals like the firework displays. Yukata is made up of cotton and now it is available in several colors but traditionally it was made up of indigo dyed cotton.

No, I am not training Will Ferrell. No it’s not his character in the movie Blades of Glory either. I currently train a namesake of his for boxing. I think he’s got a COOL NAME! He isn’t a boxer but he surely has a lot of fitness goals in mind. He trains for soccer and he is far from the figure skater that Will Ferrell portrays in the movie. But why is “Chaz Michael Michaels” training in boxing?

It is simply because we both agree that boxing as a form of fitness training will take his game to a whole new level. Boxing definitely is both time efficient and effective in improving ones fitness goals. It is indeed the most ideal cross- training alternative and there is no way but up once you partake in boxing training.

Mike Bresnahan in an article released in 2003 pointed out 6 different criteria to consider when looking for an alternative workout to help you out with your primary one.

Here they are:

Intensity – It must challenge both the aerobic and anaerobic systems.
Strength gain – It must improve overall body strength.
Injury free – It must provide intensity without battering muscles and joints.
Calorie burn – It must help burn off any extra fat to help increase/maintain leanness.
Variety – It must be challenging and non-boring.
Mental toughness – It must help the athlete or fitness devotee learn to cope with difficult challenges in their primary activity.

All these are covered by an effective boxing training program. I have always stated that intensity is the name of the game. Of course, when you increase the intensity strength is one of the by-products. Injury does not always occur when you train with a professional. In my program, sparring is optional. You can enjoy the workout without getting hit at all. You will lose unwanted calories in no time because of its emphasis on variety. And finally, a positive workout atmosphere can only make you better— mental toughness comes with it!

Chaz Michael Michaels says that he has never worked out this hard compared to the sports he had played in the past. As time goes by, Chaz will only be better, stronger and faster. One of Alliant Techsystems Inc’s subsidiaries has got a .5 million modification contract which was awarded by the U.S. Department of Defense.

The modification contract entails exercising an option for up to 1,700 replaceable assemblies for certain missile warning systems weapons.

In addition, it has received a .8 million Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract for its XM25.

At the beginning of this month, Alliant Techsystems got a million contract which entails supplying 120mm tank ammunition. Since 1980, the aerospace and defense company has supplied over four million rounds of 120mm tactical and training tank ammunition to the U.S.

Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and allied militaries.

Several days ago, it was selected to supply the Thermal Control Subsystem for the Integrated Sensor. The contract was awarded by Lockheed Martin, the world’s largest defense contractor, which was formed by the merger of Lockheed Corporation with Martin Marietta in March 1995.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Alliant Techsystems posted third-quarter 2011 earnings of .09 per share. For the full year 2011, EPS is expected to be at .90 – .10. Last year, its revenue was about US.8 billion.

And the last division develops and supplies ammunition for law enforcement, manufactures optics, sport shooting accessories and tactical accessories.
