You work out at home, at the gym, maybe even at work. But do you really know what to do? This article will provide you with information on how to put together a fitness training plan that fits all of your needs – lifestyle, fitness level, time constraints and interests. Whether you’re just starting out or been at it for years, the following information will be beneficial to you.

So you have home gym equipment and/or a health club membership, and you may even be using them on a regular basis. But, how do you put together an exercise plan that not only helps you improve your body’s health, but also do it in a way that fits the rest of your life?

1. Define what your goals are. Are you looking to lose weight? Gain muscle? Tone up what you already have? You’ll need to decide what it is you want to accomplish before you can define what your plan is.

2. Understand that you need to start slowly. Your body will adjust quickly to the changes that will take place as you get into a regular exercise program – but overdoing things at the beginning will have the opposite effect you are looking for. Start with a simple program, and build onto it as your fitness improves.

3. Decide how much time you can spend per day. And, and dedicate yourself to using that time for your fitness workouts. Keep in mind that committing two percent of your day will get you to where you need to be!

4. Write it down beforehand. Plan out your workouts, and keep track of your results. Pick your exercises, pick your weight for the exercise, pick your number of sets / number of reps, pick your time that you’ll do cardio, and commit to it.

5. When doing your planning – break up your routine. For example – if you’re doing weight training, don’t try to train all your muscle groups in one session. Rather, schedule your chest and arm exercises for one session, back and shoulder exercises for the next, and legs & abdominals for the third. Keeping variety in your training will not only help keep you motivated, it also helps keep you from overtraining and getting hurt.

6. See your doctor. Before you put your plan into action, talk to your doctor, and make sure that what you’ve planned won’t hurt you, only help you!

7. Learn about your body. Learn about what muscles make up your body, and what exercises work the muscle groups you’d like to concentrate on. Learn about what the difference is between “cardio efficiency” and “burning fat”. For example, running on the treadmill at your peak speed, may build your cardiovascular system, but running at a much slower pace actually is better for training your body to burn fat.

Your plan is just that – yours. In the end, you’ll only get out of your plan what you put into it. And, the best way to create a successful plan is to create something that you’re not just comfortable with, but a plan that challenges you to push yourself just a little bit farther! You only get out of your plan what you put into it. And, the best way to create a successful plan is to create something that you’re not just comfortable with, but a plan that challenges you to push yourself just a little bit farther!

When buying a trainer it’s important to first figure out what you want, and
what features will be most beneficial to your workouts. The Octane
elliptical line has a large number of different trainers to suit a variety
of different needs, and their models are divided into home and gym. The
higher level trainers will be better suited to more serious exercisers,
while some of the lower end models offer many of the same benefits for
beginners.

Unlike most other fitness companies, Octane only makes elliptical trainers.
Many gyms use Octane trainers because they swear by their high level of
durability when being used by many different people each day. Octane
ellipticals are definitely one of the higher end fitness products, with the
price range being between $2199 and $3599.

Most of the Octane elliptical trainers are the same, with the only
noticeable difference being that the Q35 and Q45 don’t have the wireless
heart rate control. The Q35 has quick start, a quick change button so you
can alter your workout at any time, five different course options, a virtual
trainer to offer advice, and a cool down mode.

The Q35e has many of the same features as the Q35, including a quick start
option that remembers past workouts, a wireless heart rate monitor, varying
intensities, and a target for lower body areas.

The Q45 also closely resembles the Q35, but has additional features like
multi-grip handlebars, adjustable stride lengths to fit each user, and a
specific program for upper body workout.

The Q45e utilizes all of the above options but also has five heart rate
programs, a wireless heart rate monitor, and a cross-training program.

The Pro35 is a more advanced model with added bonuses not necessarily needed
for a workout, but more for comfort during the workout. The pedals are more
compact, and there is an accessory tray for water bottles and magazines.

The Pro350 offers things like 25 varying resistance levels, a heavier frame
for users up to 400 pounds, and digital heart rate sensors.

The Pro350XL has the highest number of features, with all of these things
plus a longer stride length and 30 resistance levels to offer variety and
challenge to any user.

Where Can I Get The Best Price On An Elliptical?

When it comes to purchasing an elliptical trainer you have four choices in where to buy:

1. Mass Merchant

2. Fitness Specialty Store

3. On-line Distributor

4. Used from a private individual

I would discourage you from option 4 since quite frankly, it’s very risky to purchase a used elliptical trainer. By their nature, elliptical trainers can be expensive to repair and you most probably won’t receive any kind of warranty with a used elliptical. So be careful.

A fitness specialty store will carry the higher-end ellipticals costing upwards of $1000 and well beyond. They will carry light commercial to commercial-grade elliptical trainers such as Precor, Life Fitness, SportsArt, and others. These are excellent brands and I encourage you to at least have a look at them since quality is extremely important when considering an elliptical trainer. This will also provide a basis on which to judge other elliptical trainers.

You will most likely find knowledgeable sales people in fitness specialty stores, but not always the lowest prices. The salespeople typically work on a commission basis and you may find them to be on the aggressive side. However, don’t let that deter you from test-driving and researching ellipticals at these stores. Just don’t get pressured into buying just yet.

Mass Merchants such as Wal-Mart, Sears, The Sports Authority, and Dick’s Sporting Goods carry the lower-end ellipticals. You can find some good values here, but it’s extremely important to understand exactly what you’re getting. Elliptical trainers in this price range can wind up costing you more that you expect in repairs and down time. I don’t recommend any elliptical trainer that retails for under $500.

Though it may be tempting to go for that $150 elliptical machine from Wal-Mart, you may wind up regretting it soon after you get it home. The salespeople at these stores, though typically friendly, aren’t always the most knowledgeable about elliptical trainers and the quality behind them.

If you are sold on elliptical trainers from ICON Health and Fitness such as Nordic Track, Reebok, and ProForm then I highly recommend that you purchase it from Sears. In fact, you may want to purchase it from the Sears on-line store. You can even purchase your Sears elliptical on-line and pick it up at any of their retail stores. Sears has a good reputation for handling repairs and exchanges during the warranty period.

Some of the best deals on elliptical trainers can be found on-line. Besides frequent sales, on-line distributors often provide free shipping and free extras for ellipticals over a certain price. Having the elliptical delivered right to your door can be a huge help since you won’t have to schlep a large, heavy box home as is the case if you purchase from a mass merchant.

To best answer the question — “Where Can I Get The Best Price On An Elliptical?” — is to try elliptical trainers off-line and buy on-line for the best deals.

Renting an Elliptical Machine – The Ideal Fitness Solution

The majority of people would love to get fit but the cost of fitness equipment puts them off. There is a solution. Renting an elliptical machine will allow you to own an excellent quality machine but at a price that you can afford.

With top of the range elliptical trainers costing $2,000 or more, it’s no wonder that many people are looking for affordable alternatives to buying. Many people resort to getting a used or refurbished machine. But few people realise that there is another way to get a beautiful machine in your home, without having to fork out an ‘arm and a leg’. Renting an elliptical machine and other fitness equipment is becoming a more popular option.

You can find specialist firms that will rent out machines in your area by going through the Yellow pages or looking on the Internet. Expect to pay somewhere in the region of $40 to $140 a month depending on the quality of the elliptical that you have.

Another big benefit of renting an elliptical machine is that you know that you are not stuck with it. Many people start a new fitness regime in January with the best of intentions. But by the end of February they have abandoned their goals and by March the fitness equipment is stuffed away in a closet. If you rented you wouldn’t have to worry about all the wasted expense that you have had.

Renting an elliptical machine also allows you to trade up when you are ready. You may decide that after using your elliptical that you love using it so much that you want a higher specification machine. This is easy to do if you have a rental plan. The company can just come and change the machine and you can settle up the difference in price.

West Nile Virus: The Bug Problem That Really Sucks!

From the moment she lays her eggs, the clock starts ticking, counting down the moments when you’ll slip from the top of the food chain and you’ll be just being another link and fast food for her hungry young.

Mosquitoes, they really suck! And as the Summer season arrives – so do they. Normally an irritant at best, delivering itchy lumps that burn and swell, now those pesky airborne hypodermic needles may carry an even deadlier payload: West Nile Virus.

Most of us have heard about West Nile Virus (WNV), and maybe it has you thinking about just how serious a matter this virus can be. Furthermore, you’re probably wondering what you can do at work to protect yourself and others.

— So What Is WNV?

WNV belongs to a family of viruses called Flaviviridae, a virus commonly found in Africa, West Asia, and the Middle East. WNV made its first appearance in North America in New York city in 1999. Since then it has spread steadily and now has a foot hold in Canada.

WNV is spread by mosquitoes that feed on the blood of infected birds [and other animals]. It is closely related to the virus that cause Dengue Fever, Yellow Fever, and St. Louis encephalitis. The virus can infect humans, birds, other mosquitoes, horses and other animals.

— How Do You Get It?

Most people that contract WNV get it from the bite of an infected mosquito, however in 2002, scientists discovered people could also become infected with WNV through blood transfusions and organ tissue transplants.

— Who’s At Risk?

Regrettably it’s older people, people with compromised immune systems or weakened individuals who are currently fighting some other illness. And although the chances of being infected are low, the percentage of those infected that develop severe health effects is even lower.

However, that being the case, everyone in an area that has WNV activity is at risk. According to Health Canada, “Risk for serious health issues generally increases with age. In 2003, over 1,300 Canadians become ill due to WNV.”

— What Can I Do To Fight It?

Here is a short list of some precautionary measures to help fight WNV:

1. Minimize your exposure to mosquitoes – that’s Dusk ‘til Dawn.

2. Wear protective clothing when outdoors – long sleeves and long pants.

3. Use DEET or other approved repellents – it ‘hides’ you.

4. Eliminate potential mosquito breeding grounds – remove standing water, old tires, etc.

5. Inspect screens on doors and windows, make sure they’re a tight fit.

— Mosquito The “Little Fly”

The word “mosquito” is Spanish for “little fly,” and its use dates back to about 1583 in North America (Europeans referred to mosquitoes as “gnats”). Mosquitoes belong to the order Diptera, true flies. Mosquitoes are like flies in that they have two wings, but unlike flies, their wings have scales, their legs are long and the females have a long mouth part (proboscis) for piercing skin. Only the female mosquito bites. There are over 2,700 species of mosquitoes in the world, and there are 13 mosquito genera (plural for “genus”) that live in the North America.

— Breeding Grounds

Mosquitoes require standing water to lay their eggs. For those of us who work with Tires this poses a special challenge. Tires are notoriously well shaped for catching rain water when left outdoors. No matter how you position a tire, it just catches the rain fall.

A tire doesn’t have to be lying around that long for a mosquito to use it as a new breeding ground. Within a week to ten days, what was once simply and old tire, waiting safely for proper disposal – now becomes a breeding ground for airborne trouble.

If you can, cover your tires to avoid rain collection, better still store old tire indoors or in some sealed storage facility until taken away for recycling. After all, once those little suckers hatch (yes the pun was intentional) they’ll fly straight for the closest food source – and that’s you and your employees!

One thing we know for sure is West Nile Virus is here to stay.

My Understanding Of, and Experience With, Far Infrared Saunas

A few years ago I became interested in Far Infrared Technology and purchased a Far Infrared Sauna. I was intrigued by the seemingly unbelievable and numerous health benefiting claims attributed to it.

I had been introduced to this technology about 10 years before by a friend of mine who pursued the practice of Acupuncture while I pursued my interest and passion for Myo-fascial Release work. He had learned about and purchased a portable Far Infrared Light, which he learned about in China while he was there during an apprenticeship/internship for Acupuncture. At the time, I could tell he was excited about the use and benefits of this technology, but alas, I was skeptical and considered it just one more of the hyped myriad health-related tools making their appearance on the healing scene. *I am a skeptic when it comes to all the Health and Fitness Tools and Gizmos which fill the infomercials and magazine ads. My bottom-line rule is to “Judge only by Results”.

When I began reading my way through the thousands of pages available on the research and results attributed to Far Infrared Technology I realized that this was something I wanted to have a direct experience of myself. And by the way, this is the method I apply to any form of Self-Maintenance Tools I attempt to share and make available to other conscious Health Seekers.

So I made a fairly expensive purchase and bought a Far Infrared Sauna, assembled it in my master bedroom, and began using it on a daily basis.

I’ve had loads of personal experience with regular saunas, in health clubs and in homes of wealthy friends, over the years. And though I loved them, the obvious downside to them was that as my body heated up and began the sweating detoxification process, the air inside them became so hard to breathe because it had become super-heated, and therefore almost impossible to inhale. If you’ve had any experience with regular saunas, which rely solely on convection (air currents), and conduction (direct contact of hot air on the skin), then you’ll understand what I’m talking about. If you’ve not had any experience with saunas then you can get the idea by turning your oven up to high, opening the door to it, sitting in front of it, and trying to breathe. This is the kind of heat utilized by a “regular” sauna.

What is this Far Infrared Heat?

The heat produced by a Far Infrared Sauna is a completely different kind of heat: Radiant Heat. Radiant Heat is a form of energy that heats objects directly through a process called conversion, which heats an object without having to heat the air in between it and the heat source. Radiant Heat is also called Infrared Energy. The sun is the principal source of Radiant Energy that we experience daily.

Infrared saunas use infrared radiant energy to directly penetrate the body’s tissues to a depth of over one and a half inches. Its energy output is tuned to correspond so closely to the body’s own radiant energy that our bodies absorb more than 90% of the infrared waves that reach our skin.

The benefit of this technology is that the air you get to breathe in the sauna is 50 to 100 degrees cooler than in a conventional sauna that relies on indirect means of heat. In other words, instead of having to endure heat in the 180+degree range, in the infrared sauna your body will heat up and begin to profusely sweat between 95 degrees and 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

Another benefit for Far Infrared Saunas is that the heat-up time for an old-fashioned hot-air sauna is between 30 and 60 minutes, while the heat-up time required for a Far Infrared Sauna is around 10 to 15 minutes. This makes them much more practical in terms of user-friendliness time constraints, as well as meaning significantly lower operating costs. Consistent and convenient daily home use is therefore much more likely with an Infrared Sauna.

*Here is a partial list of the dis-ease conditions of the physical body positively affected by Far Infrared Heat Therapy; the healing qualities of Far Infrared Heat are numerous and far-reaching: detoxification cellulite removal sunburn antidote improved skin removal of clogged pores and blackheads acne eczema and psoriases dandruff muscle spasms arthritis joint stiffness low back pain muscle tension cold hands and feet high blood pressure cancer asthma weight loss lowered cholesterol fibromyalgia reduced stress and fatigue chronic fatigue syndrome multiple chemical sensitivity

My specific interest in Far Infrared Heat

As you’ll note, there are an amazing number of “disease ailments” which have been documented to be positively affected by Far Infrared Sauna use. Although I believe all of this research and documentation to be true, I’ve discovered something very interesting about Far Infrared Heat that interests me more than all the others, because it specifically applies to my chosen field of expertise, the Myofascial Web.

Since 1984 I have, as my job of choice, practiced a form of hands-on bodywork exclusively dedicated to the reorganization and rejuvenation of the Myofascial Web. The Myofascial Web consists of the physiological structure of “Fascia” throughout the body. In my extensive experience, this Fascia is essentially responsible for all pain in the soft tissue, and the Structural Misalignment of the body, meaning altered and diminished Posture, Flexibility, and Functional Movement.

OK, so what is Fascia?

Anatomy: Fascia; A sheet or band of fibrous connective tissue enveloping, separating, or binding together muscles, organs, and other soft structures of the body; a fibrous tissue network located between the skin and the underlying structure of muscle and bone. Fascia is composed of two layers, a superficial layer and a deep layer. Superficial fascia is attached to the skin and is composed of connective tissue containing varying quantities of fat. It is especially dense in the scalp , the back of the neck, and the palms of the hands, where it serves to anchor the skin firmly to underlying tissues. In other areas of the body it is loose and the skin may be moved freely back and forth. Deep fascia underlies the superficial layers, to which it is loosely joined by fibrous strands. It is thin but strong and densely packed, and serves to cover the muscles and to partition them into groups.

If you’ve ever noticed on a piece of raw chicken the thin, clear, saran wrap-like film that you could peel off, then you have handled fascia. This would be the superficial fascia that surrounds the entire muscle group.

*Fascia in fact surrounds not only every muscle group, but every muscle, every muscle fiber, and every muscle cell. Imagine a string hammock of fascia inside of every muscle, like a 3-dimensional fishnet stocking, running from one end of the muscle to the other; again, surrounding every muscle fiber and every muscle cell, making it truly the most important and insidious structure in the physical body, having purpose and ramifications unimagined by allopathic western medicine. Like the hammock, the fascial exits the muscle by merging all the net together into a woven, thick, dense cord (that you would hook to a tree or a wall), and that structure is called a tendon (which is pure fascia). A tendon attaches a muscle to a bone.

Another example of fascia is a ligament, which also is pure fascia, and it attaches bone to bone.

The Myofascial Web and Physical Therapy

Now the reason that massage and chiropractic have such short-lasting results is because neither modality addresses the Myofascial Web in any way which would lead to lasting results. Massage manually flushes out the muscle, which is of course still a positive thing to have happen, but it does not affect the Myofascial Web, which is what is traumatizing the muscle and causing the pain its in. Hence, its short term results.

Chiropractic pushes and shoves the bones around, and it’s definitely the case that the bones are in the wrong place, but it does not address the Myofascial Web, and the Myofascial Web is what is holding and pulling the bones out of place. Hence again, the short term results of this modality, and the reason that long term chiropractic care has devolved into making the exact same adjustments for the exact same structural problems, over and over again, ad infinitum.

The results of these kinds of treatment are temporary, requiring an indefinite number of treatments, for the same problem, the reason being that they address the symptoms of the problem, and not the cause: which is in virtually all cases, a compromised and traumatized Myofascial Web.

The therapy called Rolfing®, which you may have heard of, or even experienced, basically consists of stretching, ripping, and tearing the Myofascial Web. This is why the first thing that comes to anyone’s mind when Rolfing® comes up is usually that it’s an intrusive “healing” modality characterized by Pain. This is because the concept of the Myofascial Web is the basis of the work, but it is addressed in such a way as to ultimately cause more trauma to an already traumatized body. In my concept of BodyWork and Healing, this is contra-productive.

Ida Rolf, bless her heart and mind, who was a pioneer in the Health field, put the Myofascial Web on the map, by her intuitive and experiential discoveries. She also intuited the understanding that a proper understanding and treatment of the Myofascial Web would result in hastening a positive Evolution of the Human Being. My premise is that she did not live long enough to continue her research to the obvious conclusion that the Myofascial Web could be melted, instead of stretched, ripped, or torn.

I fortunately, after having learned and become proficient in the Rolfing® technique (and taught it for 3 years in the school I graduated from), had the good fortune to meet, and apprentice with, an extraordinarily gifted and intuitive healer from India named Usha. She untaught me, and then taught me, over a period of 8 years or so, how to kindly and lovingly address the Myofascial Web, by melting it with the heat and pressure of my hands, and directing the Release and Realignment with my intuition and will.

What this all means regarding Far Infrared Saunas

The Myofascial Web is 100% positively affected by Far Infrared Heat. Studies have been done and documented about how stretching performed in Far Infrared Heat is more effective in relation to muscle length attained, as well as how long the stretching done lasts. I haven’t read anything regarding just why this phenomenon is so, but through my own experimentation and understanding of the Myofascial Web I’ve come to a few conclusions I feel are easily proven.

I’ve come to these conclusions while using a Far Infrared Sauna, and through the process of using a Far Infrared portable heat lamp for my hands-on Structural Release BodyWork sessions, on myself and others.

While before I had to rely on the heat and pressure of my hands to melt the Myofascial Web, working in a Far Infrared Sauna, or using a directed Far Infrared Heat Lamp, has sped the process up exponentially. The hard, dense Fascia throughout the muscle tissue, especially around the joints of the body, melts like butter in the sauna or in front of an infrared space heater. When subjected to the enveloping rays in the Far Infrared Sauna, or the directed rays of my Far Infrared Heat Lamp, the hardened muscle tissue (fascia), the tendons, and the cartilage (also pure fascia) in and around the joints changes from a solid to almost a liquid, much the same as ice turns from a solid to a liquid when subjected to a heat source.

As this phenomenon takes place, muscles and tendons lengthen and the cartilage softens and expands, decompressing joints, resulting in a positive and permanent rearrangement of the Structural Body.

What this Information means to you as a potential Far Infrared Sauna Owner

What this exciting information I’ve provided you with means to you if you own one of these amazing Self-Maintenance Tools, is that any stretching or self-work you do on yourself while in your Far Infrared Sauna will be so exponentially different from anything you’ve ever done in the past it will beggar description.

If you’ve heard of Bikram Yoga then you know that there are entire modalities out there which have already recognized the importance and effectiveness of heat while stretching or performing Yoga. Again, as you can find in thousands of web pages on the internet, Indirect Heat, the kind used to heat rooms like the kind used for Bikram Yoga, is an outdated, uncomfortable, and inefficient heat source for Healing and for positively affecting the Myofascial Web, which specifically pertains to the Hatha Yogic endeavor.

I’ve gotten results, through my hands-on bodywork, using Far Infrared Heat, that have blown my mind and made me want to begin saving money to purchase a custom-designed Far Infrared Sauna in which I can do all of my Structural Realignment Sessions, as well as something that I can do my own Structural Maintenance in…

Using Self-Maintenance Tools with Far Infrared Heat

Of course you can just sit in your Far Infrared Sauna and experience all of the myriad positive physiological health benefits listed above, and more found elsewhere if you do further research about Far Infrared Heat.

You can also take your experience with Far Infrared Heat to the next level by working on yourself while being saturated with Far Infrared Heat. The main way this can be done is by using any of the movements from the flexibility system I’ve developed.

I can guarantee you that any righteous flexibility work done while under the rays of Far Infrared Heat will be exponentially more productive and effective than anything you’ve ever experienced. Remember, a whole new modality of Flexibility work (Bikram Yoga) has sprung up and spread like wildfire using “hot air”, in super-heated workout rooms, to enhance the Hatha Yoga experience. As explained elsewhere in this treatise, the much more positive physiological effects gained from the use of Far Infrared technology as a heat source renders the use of “hot air” obsolete, especially in the context of Flexibility and Physical Fitness.

Research has also shown that any Flexibility work done just after a Far Infrared Sauna session produces much better (document-able) results than Flexibility work done without the use of Far Infrared Heat. This is because of the way that Far Infrared Heat affects the Myofascial Web, which has everything to do with how a muscle responds to physical manipulation; including stretching/Release, and hands-on Release work.

Conclusion

So at the end of this treatise, I implore you to find out everything you can about Infrared Sauna Therapy and how it can positively impact and affect your Health and Well-Being.

I hope I’ve shown you, or at least piqued your interest about this incredible technology, which I’ve found to be one of the most amazing and effective passive technologies available to the Sincere Health-Seeker.

Walking Fitness For Seniors

For fit and healthy later years you need just two things. A Senior Walking Fitness programme and a healthy diet.

Walking is quite easy, just start slowly and for a few days walk round the block. Then, when you’ve managed to pass McDonalds without stopping a few times, go a little further. Try ten minutes brisk walking, turn round and walk briskly back. Celebrate, you have walked a mile. A whole mile! I told you it was easy.

Do this every day and fitness will come quite soon, but not if you go home and have a beer and a pizza afterwards.

You may think walking for walking sake is boring. Not so. Look around, city dwellers can check the changing shop windows – but keep on past, wandering round shops is not walking. Cities have parks and parks have trees, birds and flowers. Check them out, buy a book. What tree is that? What bird? Keep notes, date of the first crocus, the first barn swallow and, harder to do, the last barn swallow. In the country your possibilities are endless, from ticking off five historic churches in a day to circumnavigating a lake or for beginners a pond. There is something to see everywhere, any time always.

What to wear. If you are doing country walking you will need the right clothes. In hot weather it is easy; jeans, hat, tee-shirt and sunscreen. Cooler weather needs better clothes. Good boots are essential, hot or cold. But in more temperate climates a rainproof anorak is a must. Not shower proof. A shower proof anorak is fine for ten minutes and misery after that. Nine minute showers are not guaranteed. A hat keeps the head warm and you can pull your anorak hood over it when it rains, or put it in your pocket, so make that a folding hat. Take gloves and a rucksack for your drink and snack. Not a big rucksack, you are not heading for base camp in the Himalayas, nor are you marching across Helmut Province. Keep rucksack and contents light. So there you are, the outdoors beckons.

But are you motivated to walk every day? Try it out and see, but maybe a committed friend will walk with you to keep you both going. Or, if all else fails, follow the sound advice of Gordon Gecko ‘If you want a friend get a dog’.

So now you need a healthy diet. Seniors in the Mediterranean countries are not obese. They eat fruit, fish, lean meat, olive oil and, would you believe, a glass of wine to go with it. They live long and healthy lives eating a Mediterranean diet. Now we find that their diet could well give protection against skin cancer. The incidence of melanoma in Australia is 50 per 100,000 people, in Scandinavia 22 per 100,000, in Mediterranean countries 3 in 100,000. There may be other factors involved and research is continuing, but it is one more reason to consider the healthy and enjoyable Mediterranean diet.

Many men looking for ways to increase muscle size and strength, improve athletic performance and enhance mental functioning turn to creatine, amino acid supplements and other dietary aids. However, many of these can have long-term side effects and have a negative impact on the body’s natural metabolic processes and cellular functioning. Stemulite offers one solution for men who want to increase energy, improve mental performance and make the most of their workout routines.

The all-natural formula contains key ingredients that promote healthy cell functioning and overnight repair; these ingredients work synergistically to increase muscle strength, improve the metabolism and reduce oxidative stress. If you’ve been searching for a powerful, natural solution to complement your healthy lifestyle, the Stemulite daytime and nighttime formula offers several benefits.

Components of a Healthy Lifestyle

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be challenging for most people, especially in today’s fast-paced culture where food and exercise can be compromised to keep up with a busy schedule. Men who are not bodybuilders or athletes can still take charge of their fitness routine with a balanced diet and consistent workout schedule, but supplementation with Stemulite can help keep the metabolism in high gear and promote healthy cellular functioning.

Maintaining a healthy metabolism with supplements helps increase energy, regulates blood sugar levels and protects cells from oxidative damage. The key ingredients in Stemulite can promote all of these essential functions on a daily basis to improve overall health, improve muscle strength and even increase mental performance.

Stemulite for Men – Key Ingredients

The Stemulite formula designed specifically for men contains ingredients such as:

• Alpha lipoic acid – this ingredient naturally occurs in the body, but supplementation can help redue the impact of depleted alpha lipoic acid levels that are associated with the aging process. It is a valuable antiaging ingredient that promotes a healthy metabolism and may also keep blood sugar levels stable
• Aminocarnitine – an amino acid derivative, this ingredient can improve cellular functioning and increase mental performance
• Beta Glucan – an extract of mushroom fungi, this ingredient supports a healthy immune system
• SerraPeptase – a natural antioxidant, this ingredient can improve the body’s natural repair systems and helps detoxify the body naturally
• Quercitin – this flavonoid can reduce excess water retention and enhance muscle definition
• Eggplant Extract – this ingredient can help to increase the rate of cellular repair and activity
• Indium – this rare trace mineral can help regulate blood sugar levels and promotes a healthy metabolism

These ingredients work together synergistically to boost the metabolism and increase muscle strength and endurance. The overnight formula contains melatonin, in addition to the above ingredients, which helps promote healthy sleep and encourages muscle and tissue repair.

Stemulite offers several benefits for men who work out regularly, or anyone who wants to take charge of their health. The all-natural formula helps reduce oxidative stress and promotes healthy cellular functioning, and is an essential supplement for increasing muscle size and strength and enhancing mental performance.

Extreme fitness can help you in a variety of ways. If you are a bodybuilder, it can help you get ripped while you gain lean mass. If you want to step up your cardio, extreme fitness can help you become aerobically superior. As an athlete, extreme fitness can really help you to step up your game. You can become stronger, faster and more explosive. In short, extreme fitness will take you to the next level in your workout and your fitness level.

From a cardio standpoint, your extreme fitness routine should include high intensity aerobic activity such as running, cycling and workouts on the elliptical machine. This may sound like any other aerobic workout, but the difference here is that the intensity level of the workouts is greatly increased. Running miles instead of minutes and cycling in a high intensity spin class or mountain biking as opposed to passive cycling can punch up your workout from ho-hum to extreme. You can achieve the same extreme fitness results in the gym by using the treadmill, stationery bike and elliptical machine. The key to taking your workout from a standard gym workout to an extreme workout is how long, how far and how intense you go.

If you want to build lean mass and get ripped, extreme fitness entails increasing your weights and adding reps. Your workouts need to become more efficient and you must ensure that you are doing each exercise correctly, maintaining the proper form. It would be wise to enlist the aid of a trainer at this point because they can help you with your form and make your workout as efficient as possible. They can help you with determining which exercises need more weight, which need more reps and which need both. Different muscle groups require different workouts in order for you to get optimum results.

As an athlete, extreme fitness can help you step up your game. You can become a better runner, stronger swimmer or more worthy opponent as a triathlete. Because you are training your body at a much higher level of intensity, you are making your body stronger, faster and more explosive. Your fitness routine should be tailored to your particular sport. For instance, a runner would have a different fitness routine that that of, say, a swimmer.

Of course, extreme fitness workouts for high level cardio, lean mass or enhanced athletic performance must be accompanied by a diet of fresh vegetables, either raw or lightly steamed, and lean meats. More protein will increase your muscle mass as you work those muscles. You will also need more calories and clean carbs for energy so that your body can sustain the high intensity workouts that you are putting it through. If you do not give your body the proper nutrition, you will not get the results that you desire. Also remember, you do need a certain amount of fat in your diet for various reasons such as keeping the skin supple and cushioning organs. Extreme fitness can get the results that you want, but you have to follow the whole formula which consists of diet, rest and exercise.
