<p>Dattatreya Siva Baba&#8217;s words about the Daily Karma Removal Program (DKRP):</p>
<p>I am compassionate towards the human predicament.</p>
<p>The oxygen and glucose supply throughout the body, helps to maintain our human body and the organic brain. This supply being the prime reason, our bodies can never restrict itself from time consciousness, and the constant movement. Our human body (also called &#8220;the meat&#8221;), has to first acquire luminosity, to attain divinity. Until then, we have to survive with the available medication, and with the blessings of deities and siddhas.</p>
<p>Life is the manifestation of your old karmas of past lives. Your success and failure is not the reflection of your deeds in the present life; but of the past life.</p>
<p>Everyone, every day, is facing only his/her karma. The so called illusory future is the reflection of your past. </p>
<p>In order to enjoy a bright present and future life, one must make it a point to resolve their past life&#8217;s karmas. As a powerful solution to the problem, our ancient siddhas recommended worshipping deities who are responsible for various aspects of our life, and also created methodologies to appease those deities.</p>
<p>Special worshipping methods are the way to unique and meaningful worships. Temples were not built at random places.</p>
<p>Each place has its own positive or negative energy (e.g., both good and bad people live in the same place). Time is ruled by the same condition too. Deities or planets can be worshipped at specific times only; and not as per our convenience.</p>
<p>I have designed this powerful program, the &#8220;Daily Karma Removal Program&#8221;, to resolve the everyday karma for my students.</p>
<p>If one is prepared, and alert for their everyday life, the old karma will not trouble them. </p>
<p>But unfortunately, our attention span is limited, and we can&#8217;t remain conscious all the time. As a solution to this, we can have a personal spiritual custodian, similar to a personal trainer. DKRP will act like a machine to automatically remove bad energy (bad karma) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.</p>

<p>The Daily Karma Removal Program (DKRP) is a comprehensive, intensive, and personal approach, to eliminate every kind of karma that affects and limits human beings.</p>
<p>Each member&#8217;s chart will be analyzed in the beginning of the program, and then a specific personalized karma <a href="http://www.anyvan.com/removals">removal</a> plan will be tailored to the needs of him/her, in order to concentrate on the areas where focus is necessary. A big part of meeting your weight loss goals during the holidays has to do with simply deciding in your mind (and your tummy!) that you will not succumb to those holiday calories. Keep your body active and keep choosing activities that force you and the family off the couch and into the world!<br/><br/>As a long-time personal trainer in Cambridge, MA, I&#8217;ve got some great ideas on how to keep your blood pumping and your hunger levels low during this holiday season.<br/><br/>Take a group fitness class &#8211; Fighting the urge to stay on the couch and veg? Hit your gym and take in a group fitness class. This can be anything from zumba to yoga to spinning and anything in between &#8211; anything that gets you up and moving! Lots of gyms have holiday deals and sales. Check them out and see if you can find a cost-effective way of keeping the pounds off. Also look into taking a group personal training class with friends.<br/><br/>Dress up a little &#8211; The weather outside is frightful, but you don&#8217;t have to look it! Studies show that the better you feel about yourself, the less harm you will do to your body. So if you&#8217;re attending a fancy party, dress for success and chat it up with a handsome stranger. Maybe that person will keep you so busy you won&#8217;t even notice you never made it to the refreshment table.<br/><br/>Cook yourself some low-fat options &#8211; Going to the family home for that big holiday day? Used to getting home cooking from Mom? This year, try something a little different. Bring your own dish potluck style. However, when you decide to start going to a gym, too much is not necessarily good.<br/><br/>Learn how to avoid some of the most common mistakes that you made when you decide to start a fitness program:<br/><br/>Too much exercise too soon<br/><br/>When you start practicing any sport, high motivation can make you want to do as much in a short time. But in this way, the feeling of fatigue will occur sooner and are more likely to be tempted to abandon the physical activity started.<br/><br/>If you have some health problems &#8211; diabetes, cardiovascular disease &#8211; it is better to use a personal trainer to guide you in exercising. That way you can make exactly the exercise that is tailored to your body conformation and your weight loss goals, and your health.<br/><br/>Proposal for unattainable goals<br/><br/>Even if you want that in less than a month to get a model body, you should know that everything requires a lot of patience, perseverance, and especially time. Be consistent and suggests that you can achieve goals. There will thus be in position to be disappointed that you did not get the expected results.<br/><br/>Focus on your muscles for a few days. Take breaks of 1-2 days between workouts to give your body time to recover. And remember: a weight loss of more than 2 pounds a week is not good for your body!<br/><br/>Start each workout with a gentle heat, not overloading your muscles and heart suddenly. It is preferred that heating take about 5-10 min (with how you intend to have a fitness program longer, the more heat must be longer). There is a problem if this happens very rarely, but when it starts to become a habit in time, you should worry.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><br/><br/>With the advent of the Nintendo Wii Fitness line of games, many couch potato gamers are finally becoming active without even realizing it.<br/><br/>But can someone who is seriously looking for a power packed, high cardio, and aerobics type workout really benefit from the Wii fit?<br/><br/>Well to be honest the first set of games the Nintendo Wii Fitness came out with will only give the serious workout freak a worm up routine, and that&#8217;s about it. For beginners its fine, for those who are just starting a exercise regiment its great, but for the advance fitness buff, it will be disappointing.<br/><br/>So the Nintendo Wii Fitness developer came up with the perfect solution and the answer to the advance fitness user. In recent months Wii Fit has evolved into a set of games offering the user a more intense cardio and strength training workout. Here is a brief over view of the top 5, starting with the least intense workout.<br/><br/>5) Wii Fit Bundle<br/><br/>The Wii Fit bundle package was the first set of games released in 2008, and as the name suggest was a group of games bundled together with the purchase of the Wii fitness gaming console. Depending on which bundle package you wanted, the system came with the controller, balance board and several games. The games ranged form Yoga, Pilates, Tennis, boxing, Balance games, skiing or ice boarding and other low impact, more gaming than workout activities.<br/><br/>These games are great for fun but would not do for a real calorie burn workout. SO I would give this 1 out of 5 for workout and 4 out of 5 for fun. A Total of 5 out of 10<br/><br/>4) Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009<br/><br/>Most people by now should know who Jillian Michaels is, you may not know her name but if you ever watched the Biggest Loser reality TV series, she is the drill sergeant /personal trainer/motivational coach and the star of the show (personal opinion).<br/><br/>Based on the intensity of the character on the Biggest Loser, this game was disappointing and somewhat boring, the only reason I but it higher than the Wii fit is because the workout is more intense and you could really burn some calories with this game.<br/><br/>This game utilizes the balance board, the controller and Nunchuck for a good workout it has 4 Workout types, strength training, cardio, weight loss, stretches. The game allows you to track your progress and save your stats.<br/><br/>I did notice that the controller response time was annoyingly delayed and some of the instructions were not very clear so it was difficult at times getting my on screen character to move or replicate my movements. I think there are a few bugs in the software coding for this game that were not worked out before release.<br/><br/>Some of the games did kinda look like the Wii Fit games repackaged, also the only motivation the game gave you would be Jillian saying &#8220;Give It All You Got&#8221; which after a while became more annoying that motivating.<br/><br/>I did like the back ground workout music which was motivating and you could select from a wide variety of music styles. The squat exercise workout was great and will make you sweat.<br/><br/>This game will defiantly burn some calories, but I think you will become bored with this game sooner than later.<br/><br/>I give the Wii Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009 game 3 out of 5 for workout and 2 out of 5 for fun. A total of 5 out of 10<br/><br/>3) Gold&#8217;s Gym Cardio Workout<br/><br/>Ok, this is the first of the Wii Fitness games to focus more on Cardio workout that mimics the workout you will get in a gym, hence the name.<br/><br/>With this game you will get a real workout. The game utilizes the Wii&#8217;s motion controls, the Balance board.<br/><br/>The highlight of this game is the TaeBo like boxing workout routine. This game seems to get the principle of running in place more accurately than the previous game. The sit-ups and jumping rope will give you a great workout. The Cardi Gold&#8217;s Gym Workout game keeps great record of your calorie burn and fitness progress, and will automatically increase the difficulty and intensity of your workout to suit.<br/><br/>So overall this is more responsive and offer non stop action for a great workout, the points system is great for motivation so I will give the Wii Gold&#8217;s Gym Cardio Workout game 3 </p>

If you’re interested in working one on one with a personal trainer the small niche fitness boutiques located in and around Santa Barbara provide an abundance of choices both in the environment and training approaches featured in the different facilities. Recently I visited a number of these studios, looking for a new place to train my clients, and was amazed at what Santa Barbara has to offer.<br/><br/>Instead of the muscle isolation machines, typical of the traditional gym setting, most studios are filled with stability balls, medicine balls, bands, cables, foam rollers and all sorts of other tools designed for a more functional approach to fitness. These facilities don’t only cater to strength building athletes; they’re filled with everyone from youthful competitors looking to improve in sports, to seniors working to build stronger bones. After visiting a few of the local hot spots and exploring some of their diverse training approaches, I zeroed in on a few of the highlights.<br/><br/>The Fitness Studio on Middle Road<br/><br/>Platinum Fitness, located on Middle Road in Montecito, is a small, bustling studio where you’ll find individuals of all shapes and sizes, including plenty of ultra fit, highly competitive endurance athletes. Peter Park, owner, competes at the elite level in running, cycling and triathlon, so it’s no surprise that his studio attracts many of the local endurance athletes, including Lance Armstrong when he’s in town. Platinum’s an upbeat facility; walk through the doors on any given day and you’re surrounded by a profusion of natural light, inspiring hip music and a variety of energetic trainers helping clients realize their goals through “functional training.”<br/><br/>Functional training, the latest trend in fitness training, prepares you for the specific activities you perform in your daily life. Maybe your job requires you to do a lot of reaching, lifting, bending over or standing and your back, your knees or your shoulders suffer. Or maybe you find yourself parked in front of a computer all day and your posture needs a little work. And then again you might be rehabbing an injury and find that you need a little help in returning to work and life successfully. Whatever you do in your daily life, functional training can make it easier.<br/><br/>Unlike the traditional approach of working one muscle at a time, functional training involves combining exercises to get all your muscles – from your calves to your shoulders – in on the action. Stepping up on a bench with dumbbells in hands and then pressing the dumbbells overhead, for example, will prepare you to step up on a chair to put a box on a shelf.<br/><br/>The idea is to work against the resistance in such a way that the strength gained from the exercise “transfers” to the specific movement in your life.<br/><br/>If you’d like to improve your ability to get up from a chair you might choose leg extensions to build leg strength. But the squat would be a much better exercise choice because it’s more like the actual movement of getting up from the chair. So the squat develops more functional leg strength.<br/><br/>Functional training also improves your performance in sports. If you’re a distance runner and you’d like to improve your time in the 10K, Peter Park advocates “strengthening the prime movers so that you don’t get as fatigued in the long races.” He puts his endurance athletes through a grueling workout specifically designed to improve strength and endurance, or muscular endurance, for competition.<br/><br/>Peter’s lower body program consists of a series of exercises done back to back: a set of 25 repetitions of squats, with bands (for constant tension); followed by a set of 25 repetitions of leg press, with bands; followed by a set of 15 repetitions of step ups; followed by three different 12-15 repetition plyometric (jump) drills. And that’s just one round. He’ll have his athletes do that three times! As you can see, Peter’s program mirrors both the movements and volume of the endurance competition… the functional approach to fitness.<br/><br/>The Fitness Studio on lower State<br/><br/>Perhaps the idea of training for the activities of daily life isn’t enough to get you motivated to start an exercise program. And you’re more interested in sculpting your body to look great in your bathing suit or bikini for the beaches of Santa Barbara. Then the “bodybuilding” approach to fitness may be more for you.<br/><br/>Specifically designed to increase lean muscle and reduce body fat, this method has additional rewards… like increased confidence, greater sex appeal, reduced stress and more energy for everyday activities.<br/><br/>Key 2 Fitness, one of the newer fitness studios in town, located on lower State, features the bodybuilding approach. Owned and operated by bodybuilders, Jeff Harrison and Leif Tiahrt, Key 2 Fitness is loaded with muscle isolation machines and free weights and is ideal for the strength athlete looking for a place to “pack on some serious muscle” according to Jeff Harrison. They also offer membership keys for individuals looking for a little camaraderie with other strength athletes in the community.<br/><br/>While the goal of bodybuilding is to develop a symmetrical physique, keep in mind that not everyone responds in the same way. Mother Nature, or your genetic make-up, determines, to a large extent, how you react to any training program. Factors such as muscle fiber type (strength or endurance), the ratio of testosterone to estrogen, and where your body fat is stored, all influence your capabilities. And in considering your vision of the ideal physique, remember that you can’t hide from your body type. Are you a slim and small boned ectomorph, a muscular and lean mesomorph, a heavy and big boned endomorph, or a combination of all three?<br/><br/>Although these genetic factors affect both men and women, there are still a significant number of women who won’t consider the bodybuilding approach for fear of getting too big. The truth is: most women put on a relatively small amount of muscle, even with hard work and dedication because of the estrogen to testosterone ratio. Unfortunately, this fear of being too muscular keeps a lot of women from reaping the benefits.<br/><br/>Many factors are involved in bodybuilding, but the one thing that really matters is that you progressively overload your muscles. Leif Tiahrt suggests using the “individual body part approach” and “maximizing the exercises for each body part.” He advocates a three day split in which the individual does “push” exercises (chest, shoulders and triceps), on Monday, “pull” exercises (back and biceps) and legs, on Wednesday, and a full body circuit, on Friday. He uses three to ten repetitions per set and finishes each exercise with a drop set to failure.<br/><br/>By using moderate to heavy loads and moderate to high volume, Leif’s program effectively increases the size of the muscles to create a more aesthetically pleasing physique… the ultimate goal of bodybuilding.<br/><br/>The Fitness Studio by the Arlington<br/><br/>Maybe you’ve put on some muscle through bodybuilding. And now you’re ready for a more refined approach to your training… one that considers the specific demands of your sport and your goals… like achieving peak performance. Following a well-designed “sport specific” training program can help you reach those goals and attain the success you desire.<br/><br/>To perform at your best in tennis, for example, you need enough aerobic endurance to maintain your stamina for a game that may last several hours; anaerobic endurance (energy is produced without oxygen) for a high intensity rally that may last 6-10 seconds; speed and agility to be able to get into position to make the majority of your shots; power for serves, forehands, backhands, and volleys; and an element of prevention to avoid injury and overtraining.<br/><br/>Conditioning Specialists, located in a historic building a few doors up from the Arlington, features the sport specific training approach. Doug Holt, owner of Conditioning Specialists and SB Fitness Magazine, gained his experience at competitive sport through soccer, which he played at the collegiate level. His studio has the look of an upscale New York loft and features a personal training studio downstairs, and, private rooms for a MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) and massage therapist upstairs, in addition to an office for the magazine.<br/><br/>When asked about sport specific training Doug says “it’s training for a particular goal… not only mimicking the actual demands of the sport – like hip abduction, knee flexion – but also the energy demands.”<br/><br/>To prepare for the sport specific demands of tennis, the strength training program is broken down into three phases, or mini training programs, each designed to develop a specific type of strength with the ultimate goal of developing the sport specific strength that tennis demands, power and muscular endurance.<br/><br/>In the first phase, “foundational strength,” the goal is to build a solid well-rounded base of strength, and, prepare the ligaments and tendons for the more demanding activity that will follow. The second phase is for building “maximal strength,” a measure of how much weight you can lift for one repetition. If you can squat 225 lbs for one repetition and your friend can only squat 205 lbs, then you have more maximal strength, in the squat. The goal of third phase is to convert the strength you developed, previously, into sport specific “power” (a combination of strength and speed) and “muscular endurance.”<br/><br/>Just as the preparation for the competitive season is broken down into phases, so too the overall training program is split into periods to promote long term improvements in strength and avoid overtraining. This program, which is usually an annual plan, consists of the preparation period (pre-season), discussed previously; the competitive period (in-season); and the transition period, when the season is closed.<br/><br/>By coordinating the phases of the training program with the different periods of the competitive season, you can maximize your strength and reach peak performance right on time for competition.<br/><br/>In Conclusion<br/><br/>So if you think you might be interested in working one on one with a personal trainer, explore the abundance of training studios around Santa Barbara to find the one that’s right for you.
